The Neck Lift Procedure
Neck lift surgery can be performed using general anesthesia, or in some cases local anesthesia with sedation. During the procedure, Dr. Nachlas will carefully lift the neck skin, tighten the lax neck muscles, and reposition underlying tissue. Sometimes submental liposuction is incorporated to remove fat deposits from the neck area. The excess skin is trimmed away, and then repositioned to create a smoother, firmer, more youthful looking neck. Depending on the extent of the procedure, the surgery can take up to 2 hours.
